This started with Jack Lisowski wanting a better snooker tip - something more reliable than what was already out there. Through snooker, he teamed up with Giles Martin, one of the most experienced tip fitters around, and together they began working on a tip that focused on consistency and feel above anything else. Around 2 years of testing later, Vortex tips was born and ready to take a product to market.
As things developed, their friend and world number one Judd Trump got involved after dealing with his own tip issues. Between the three of them, they worked on producing a tip that offers increased grip and spin, consistency through every grade available, and slightly reduced cue ball deflection for better accuracy. The aim has always been simple: make the best tip possible. We believe we’ve done that - and we’d like to think the results speak for themselves.
